In the frame contract, Nokia Siemens Networks will deliver radio access network with both 2G and 3G technologies to DTAC. MoreNokia cuts jobs, steps up emerging market pushNokia has announced it is to cut around 600 jobs whilst ramping up its emerging markets strategy with several new handsets and a range of services targeted initially at India. In a press statement, the world's largest handset vendor said it is to cut approximately 450 employees from its Markets unit. This will affect a maximum of 100 staff in its home country of Finland - as well as approximately 130 employees in its research center (again, with a maximum of 100 staff affected in Finland).
