According to Telekom Malaysia, a 20-year capacity contract would enable Telenor to use fibre optic cable pairs and co-location facilities along Multinet’s 4,100Km fiber optic backbone. In another service contract, Multinet would provide maintenance and associated services for 20 years. Telenor Pakistan’s partnership with Multinet will enable Telenor to enjoy international bandwidth via SMW-4, a 20,000km undersea cable.

Adnan Asdar - Multinet's CEO - claimed his company was confident that its strong local presence and in-country technical and rollout expertise would enable it to meet Telenor’s timelines and exceeds Telenor’s high expectations.
