IPOD NANO - Apple's thinnest, and coolest ipod yet!
Seemeen Kanwal Janjua

WITH advancements in technology, data storage has become very easy to manage. We have seen music being stored in large to smaller portable CDs and now to current dominant music MP3 format. As different kinds of music players are available in the market, it has become difficult to make the correct choice. You end up with so many choices that the average user gets confused. Among all these good and bad choices, iPod nano is the latest in music scene

Apple's iPod has dominated the digital music player scene since its launch in 2001. As hard-drive-based players have gotten smaller and the price of USB-based MP3 players dropped, Apple held on the opportunity to dive into the portable players market with the iPod shuffle. It was a wildly successful move for Apple. Very soon iPod came into pockets of so many music lovers.

And now, Apple's innovation came in the form of iPod nano, a very-mini-version of their current iPod color line. Apple is constantly innovating, and pushing the limit, in order to bring you the world's greatest products. While holding the iPod Nano, you really get the feeling of a high quality electronic product.

When you'll see it for the first time, you'll be amazed to see thinness of the product. At 0.27 inches from back to front, the nano is about as deep as six stacked credit cards. Bearing dimensions of 3.5 by 1.6 inches, you can hide it beneath a business card (it will, in fact, fit neatly inside a business card wallet). Yet, even with its small size and scant weight of 1.5 ounces, the nano doesn't feel delicate. The iPod isn't so small that it becomes difficult to use its click wheel or view text or pictures on its 1.5 inch display.

iPod Nano's Click Wheel puts music under your thumb. Click to fast-forward, rewind, play, pause or access menus. Use the touch-sensitive surface to control volume or browse music. The nano is also quicker to 'sync' than any other iPod.

Facts:
The 3.5×1.6×0.27 inch device feature 500 songs in 2 GB model and 1000 songs in the 4 GB one.

It weighs about 1.5 ounces (42 grams) and has a maximum of 14 hours of battery life.

It comes in two colors black and white
