7th Billion - Social Networkingby Sheliza Khan

Although social networking is an old phenomena, online social networking is something that came to limelight when Orkut was launched back in 2004.

Youngsters from different parts of the world are joining this relatively new social network that offers them more freedom, privacy and focus on on real networking elements including events, hangspots and wall sharing etc.

7thBillion.com is a website that can be accessed with Facebook ID as well. More and more people are joining 7thBillion due to its new and interactive features. Currently, no other social network allows multiple walls feature, whereas in 7thBillion, users can have different walls with respective privacy. This means, I can hide my friends’ wall from my family and can have a private wall with my co-workers as well. This is a great idea, because on facebook everything gets publicised. If you don’t do it, your friend does because if your friend’s privacy setting is public then your name will be displayed on his/her wall.

7th Billion is more popular among young people from Middle East & Asia region. If you want to know more about 7th Billion, please go here: 7th Billion Social Network

I have visited the website and has very good graphics. Rich in functionality and different themes can be applied to your profile. New feed, Quizzes, Hang spots, Events makes the site very interesting and friends activities are displayed on your home page so you exactly know what your friends are doing. Very good idea about the website is that you can have a multiple wall for your family, friends and coworkers which cannot be viewed by another person so your privacy is saved as family guy, Good colleague at the same time you can be playboy or tease other people without spoiling your image in front of others. You don’t even need to create a separate profile, just log on using your facebook account
